I am so disappointed in this season. It is so obviously scripted. Does anyone believe that the others couldn’t hear Colby telling Russell that JT would give him the idol or Danielle saying to Parvati that she would stay in the challenge because “you have the idol”? And why is everyone playing so opposite to type? In a real game, Russell would have been gone weeks ago. I am hoping that after this seaon, the show will go back to it’s roots and give us real contestants.

Dream on, Donna. Especially if Lynne Spillman has anything to say about it.

Why the f*ck do I keep watching this show??!? Its so painfully obvious how scripted it is.Russell has not been voted off simply because of the ratings that he brings in for the show. Its not even about giving the million dollars to someone who deserves it anymore(Like Amanda),as long as they are making millions off exploiting Russells so-called “genius devious antics”. Bravo to the producers for writing very dramatic and suspenseful situations to entertain us, however dont insult us by trying to pass it off as reality television! ( ie. Erik’s jury statement in season 19),which was obviously fabricated by the show’s writers. Point being,I don’t think I can watch this fake bourgeois trash anymore. Its nauseating.

aaron you’re an idiot… I’m assuming you meant “accept” and not “except”. And would somebody PLEASE explain to me why Russell, being a self-proclaimed “millionaire” would not get those disgusting hobgoblin teeth fixed.

I think Russel should be voted out. He is like Courtney said at tribal council “he is a troll” :-)

I done with this show if they just bring back old people to play. It is so much better when they have new people every season. I have only watched 2 episodes this season and they are horrible. Why would they think we would want to see the same people back especially if they are the villains. Stupid idea producers.

Russel haters need to get a life its a tv show. You kids need to go outside more or do something so your only enjoyment in life isn’t watching a terribly awkward and annoying survivor like Amanda. The suspense is not scripting but likely magnified de to editing in most cases. So for all you QQ babies above here have a tissue for your issue. Peace

Even if Russell makes it to the final two AGAIN, he has betrayed so many people along the way that he will never receive the jury’s support. Did anyone see how Sandra voted? Did she vote with the heroes or villains? “Shallow” is a great last name for Parvati :)

Ok no its not scripted. They probably mske it look like its scripted to be more intense but put pieces together.

Aaron i totally agree with you. Just because rusell has voted out the players that these other two people like they think its scripted. I agree rusell has made the show fun to watch.

  12. By Don on Apr 29, 2010 | Reply

Aaron only ignorant people think this is not scripted, there is no way Russel finds all the Idols. CBS needs the ratings. the show is just like television wrestling every move is according to the script.

I JUST GOTTA SAY NINAK IS CORRECT, AND AARON IS ALSO CORRECT, BECAUSE ALTHOUGH I DON’T BELIEVE IN SCRIPTED REALITY SHOWS, ( hate them ) I DO BELIEVE SINCE SEASON 1 SINCE I’VE BEEN WATCHING, THINGS ARE ALOT MORE PREDICTABLE!!!! BUT RUSSELL IS THE MAN AND YOU ALL KNEW THAT LAST SEASON WHEN HE FOUND IMUNITY IDOL’S (more than 1) WITH NOT 1 CLUE EACH TIME THAt HAS NEVER HAPPENED!!! SO THAT’S WHERE THE RATINGS COME IN, WAS IT STAGED???? PROBABLY!!! MY HUSBAND AND I STILL WAN’T TO DO SOME DRINKING WITH THIS MAN!! !! SMART SON OF A BITCH

wait a minute … why did the popcorn just happen to be on danielle’s side? and why did it look to me like she was (very badly) acting? it all seemed theatrical.

… and why drop the coveted clue under the bed? isn’t it typically in her underwear that danielle hides her HII clues ?

Interesting that folks think Survivor is scripted. Survivor is a commentary on American authenticity. Scripted? Of course it is scripted … not by the Survivor producers but by the “me first and ME ONLY” intention of the American people. There is but one outcome, and the “winner” is irrelevant. The manner in which the winner wins is what is scripted … deception, dishonesty, and distraction: the American way. This is the script – VILLAINS WIN

Ya, I thought as much :-)) Home of the Brave, Land of the Free?

More like Home of the Botox, Land of the needy.

OK, lets forget about it being scripted or not. Today, the issue is Candice. She must be the dumbest player ever. For that Russell may even decide to take her to the final three, but then she also proves she is untrustworthy, why should even he trust her. Is there possibly some other reason she didn’t like Amanda? It just doesn’t make sense. She was in the place of power, she could have betrayed Amanda later. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Pavarti is pure emotions. At tribal when she said “you just wasted [an idol” to Russel, she needed to be set straight. RUSSEL IS THE ONE MANEUVERING THE WHOLE THING! Candice would not have flipped if Russel didn’t talk her into it! PAVARTI YOU ARE SAVED BECAUSE OF RUSSEL!!! HE WAS JUST SECURING HIS OWN SPOT FOR YOU AS A TEAM!!! I’m also worried that Russel won’t get jury votes. Who do you guys think would be good to bring to the final three with Russel?

I’m not really all that surprised by the comments. But I have to echo the sentiments that EDITING is what makes this season seem so SCRIPTED. You have to remember that you are not watching every waking hour of every players ‘game’. Is it really too hard to believe that a person would decide, ‘you know what? Instead of sitting around on my butt all day doing nothing, I’m just going to start looking underneath things to see what I can dig up.’ Yes, the beaches they dwell on are vast and it seems like an awfully big area to cover . . . but list, if you can remember, all the HII ever to be played. I think all but three were underneath very stand-out-esque markings. The bridge . . . multiple trees . . . an off-colored rock . . . a cave . . . that’s a trend, folks . . . and it doesn’t take a genius to realize that a little bit of intuition and a LOT of time (which some of these players have both) is all it takes to find these things. This game isn’t for everybody . . . neither is watching it, apparently. But the one’s that thrive in this environment are the one’s that can manipulate people into believing whatever they want. The one’s that don’t thrive are the one’s gullible enough to believe the one’s that do.

    To everyone posting a comment,
Stop writing. Enroll in a class that teaches grammar and punctuation. Finish the class. Then, and only then, resume posting comments. Punctuation isn’t just something that elitists use- it clarifies your sentences. Your collective illiteracy is grotesque.

Everything could have swung on this episode. In her hands, Candice could have put the heroes on top by voting off Parvati. With Sandra alongside, the numbers would then be 5-3. Why would Candice go to the villains for safety? It doesn’t make sense. If she makes the final, she just lost every hero vote. Why risk that? Because the show’s producers made her vote against Amanda. Everything was set for Parvati’s exit. Except we don’t know how the producers are pulling the strings. Parvati only gave up her idols last week because she was told to and guaranteed a future spot. Candice must have gotten a similar deal from the producers. I like watching the show. I even like Russell’s gameplay. I have no complaints there. But Candice flipping was total non-sense. Too fake to believe. She betrayed the entire heroes camp, and yet she won’t be a total enemy with them, because the producers will script it that way. Come on!

Russell used the immunity idol ! I knew that he would find it and in the end he didn’t even need to use it . 6-3 Amanda ? Someone flipped Candice and why didn’t Sandra try to vote off Russell ? Then Russell would have used the idol and most likely Parvati was going home .

Will Sandra try again to vote off the hobbit on crack ? Amanda is too nice and pretty for this game . You need ruthless people like Russell he surely is the greatest player ever but the jury won’t vote for him . No-one likes him on the jury .

Candice flipped and with Sandra already flipping its 5-3 villains . Russell is in a powerful position and still in control f the game . Parvati said Russell wasted the immunity idol but its Parvati who wasted it on Sandra if you recall . If it wasn’t for Russell Parvati was out long ago so she should worship Russell because he saved her ass . Hoping for Russell to make top 3 ? KING RUSSELL LIVES !

i dont know bout you guys but im thinking that sandra might be on board with russell at the last two tribals she has voted with russell. parv is most likely going to be sent packing next week

  24. By Théo on Apr 30, 2010 | Reply

    Silly suspicious people.
Russell finds these idols because they are (as he stated before) in landmark areas. There would never be a Hidden Immunity idol that is buried behind a tree 2 miles from camp. In order to make the show more interesting, they’d make it easier to find, and Russell realizes this. THAT’S why he goes looking for them, because everyone else on this season has been clueless (except for Boston Rob, and Russell realised this and voted him out).
Most of you (like Aaron stated before^), are just ticked off because Russell is dominating this game and dominating your favorite players. He is the king of this show, and plays like a king. It would be interesting to pit him against people who have this sort of mindset, like Richard and Johnny Fairplay, unlike pitting him against people like Randy, Tyson and Courtney.
Brainless fools, the king shall win.
