   Russel was so right with what he said about Sandra. She had no strategy, lazy and should not have won. They should never have let the people who already won a million play! That right there should have been the deciding factor in letting Russel win the game. Russel should have won, he played the hardest. Yes he played dirty at times but he made it to the end. Sandra totally showed no class at the finale by flapping her mouth at the finale.

   Russell hit the nail on the head when the said that Survivor is flawed. The last two seasons prove that the best player usually doesn’t win. It’s usually a non threatening tag-along that wins even though they are totally undeserving of winning. It makes me sick that Sandra won this season and last season played out exactly the same way.

   No matter what the idiots at the end say, being a tag along is not a strategy. If you don’t have some control of voting people off or if you don’t win immunity competitions you are basically at the hands of people who are in control. You have to be lucky to not get voted out. Russell could of easily got Sandra out the last five or six votes.

   If you are a great player like Russell you can control how far you get in the game. You have to back stab and lie but that is part of the game. No one is going to win without deceiving.
   However, to be in control and get far in the game you are going to piss off a lot of people in the jury. Usually the jury is bitter at the end and they are not going to vote for the player that got them out. They vote for the person that just tagged along but didn’t piss anybody off. That’s why Sandra won. Hence the game is flawed.

   I think 60% of the final vote should be based on fan votes. Until this is changed I am done with Survivor. The same scenario that played out today has happened too many times. It’s sickening.

   By the way Russell is the best player in Survivor history. Sandra is a complete joke.

   Also, the holier than though attitude by the jury every season is disgusting. Most of the same people that talk about honesty and integrity did just as much deceiving and lying before they got voted out (JT this season in particular).

   I hope a lot of true Survivor fans finally see the flaw in the game and stop watching like me.

I started watching Survivor from the beginning but soon grew bored and did not watch it again until someone told me about a player named Russell; so I tuned in again. I will never watch it again! Russell should have won!

   Russell is definitely the best player ever. He controlled pretty much everything this season, and masterminded just about every plot twists and turns.
   I think he is great. I would never want to play against him nor would I ever trust him, but still you have to give credit were credit is due : this guy can read people and situations like no one I have ever seen.

   He does deserve to win despite the fact that he chose to ignore the social aspect of the game. Besides no one should be surprised by this, he did exactly the same thing the first time he was on Survivor !

   He was just amazing to watch. And honestly I don’t get all the hatred from the other players….it’s not as if this game is about integrity…

    I totally do not think that Sandra (no offence) should have won Survivor, I do not agree with her having the title of “Sole Survivor” again…she did nothing to deserve that. I think Russell should have NOT even brought her to final three..it should have been him, Parvoti, and Jerri!! Even if Russell didnt win against those two they were more DESERVING THEN SANDRA!!! I believe Russell is the “Sole Survivor” and one of the best players ever!!! I hope to see him back on another season!!! He brings wicked excitement to the show! I also think that the JURY made a decision based on their jealousy and prides being hurt and they were all holding a grude because he “OUTWITTED, OUTSMARTED, OUTPLAYED” them ALL!!!!!! hmm..isnt that the NAME of SURVIVOR…and what they should have based their votes on..to me the people on that JURY are all SORE LOSERS and i cannot believe they gave it to someone who just rode coat tails!! Hands down Russell or even Parvoti should have won!!!!!

    unfortunate event…………I believe russel is the best and most strtegic player to ever play the game. In every season each player is given the a set of rules which they must adhere to just as with any “game”. I doubt that Russels’ game play strayed from those set rules. It is unfortunate that that the winner is decided by those who have defeat still fresh in their veins, and we allow them to make a decision based on their own personal revenge.

    I agree with you whole heartedly! Will never watch Survivor again. CBS should give Russell a special award for being the best player in the history of Survivor(not just he Sprint Award). If CBS wants to keep their viewers they should do something about this injustice. Go Russell! You made the show so INTERESTING!

    Russel is the only player playing by the rules of the game, and he expects others to play by them as well. He respects people playing the game, and expects others to respect it as well. Unfortunately he is playing with people that let bitterness and hurt feelings blind them to their DUTY of awarding the prize to the BEST player and not someone that didn’t hurt their feelings

    I think that the survivor contestants have become wimps; they go on and on about Russell but every single one of them tried to have a liaison with him–except maybe Sandra who knew he would not join with her.
    What in the world did Russell do that was worse then what Richard Hatch did in season one? Back then, the contestants voted on game and not on who was nice. Survivor is getting old and needs an up kick

    Russell’s comment about the game being flawed just shows how he doesn’t understand the game.

    Survivor is unique in that text and online voting don’t determine the winner, and because of that it’s the only reality show I watch. It’s part of the game that you have to stay in the game and not completely alienate everyone you vote off in order to win. Everyone else seems to understand that–it’s only Russell that doesn’t get it.

    To win this game, you have to play a physical game, a strategic one, and be able to garner jury votes at the end–period. Please, please CBS, don’t listen to one idiot and change the game. Thank you, Jeff, for pointing out to Russell that fan voting is not how the winner of this game is determined. The game isn’t flawed–Russell’s strategy is. Perhaps he should go try another game, as he seems to miss the point of this one.

    I have watched all 20 seasons of Survivor and I must say that Russel IS the ultimate Survivor player. It is too bad that those on the jury who were out played, out witted and out lasted, have once again decided to vote for someone other than the best player. I am getting a little tired of the “holier than thou” attitude of those voted off to become members of the jury. I have witnessed them all do the same moves that Russel pulled off, yet it was somehow acceptible when they did the same moves on their past shows. You get my vote as the best Survivor player ever, Russel.

    Does anyone here want to be like Russell? I dont understand why people followed him to the pit that he would then push them in.If the show was called the biggest piece of crap,the worst con artist,who can lie the most?or the littlest idiot who thinks he’s cool maybe then he should have won. I cant believe they gave him a that award and I hope i never see him again. Maybe some people didnt see it but I saw his true colors come out when he was in a position of power he treated everyone like garbage especially the women. Its amazing how some people will follow leaders who are loud egotists. It’s sad that someone like that has money,but it just shows that money cant buy everything. I hope this show gets some better quality people. Rupert has more class in his two broken toes than he has in his whole body he should have won the award.

    Russell should have won. Just because you get your feelings hurt by somebody doesn’t mean that they deserve to lose. You just may not have been smart enough to play the same game and shouldn’t vote with you personal grudges. Survivor needs to start choosing more mature, level-headed players instead of players who let their emotions and pride in the way of choosing a real winner.

    the only way survivor would be able to include america’s vote in the decision for title of sole survivor would be if we had way more footage posted online that fans could base their vote on.

    despite it being a pretty good idea, kind of like american idol approach, the point of survivor is to outwit outplay and outlast everyone on the island based on the strength of your social game as well as all the other strategic elements within that game.
    Russell was overpowering the controlling aspect of the game, but made everyone around him miserable by bullying them and threatening them. something we as an audience watching tv don’t experience first hand.
    he was a very interesting character and made the show very entertaining, but he was blinded by his arrogance.
    the other competitors knew his weakness and used it against him.

    another thing worth mentioning is that Russell didn’t have enough time, i think, between seasons to contemplate on why he failed to win the first time, unlike the other top 3 finalists.

    Russell could have won, if he would have played as himself, and not as a villain.
    it is almost impossible to imagine the sudden jump in fame russell experienced compared to the other experienced players.

    This show is worthless. Russel should have won somehow they rounded up the biggest bunch of poor sports. Maybe he did not plea his case but the fact of the matter he was the king of Villians and the best player to play the game. Not only was Sandra low class she already won and was worthless. I pitty her for this. I think she will be most unliked in this game by viewers for this. Rupert is a dumbass and most of the players were.     Russell should have won. I think the booted off are just embarrassed that they didn’t listen to the fact that he alerted them nearly every time of his moves and didn’t do anything to thwart their own exit. Love him or hate him he loves strategy and out of the gates played hard and never stopped. This shows that society loves a popularity contest. Forget skill, forget facts, forget nuance….just vote for the one you “connect with”. Unbelievable. Russell is an amazing player and I forgive him for thinking Parvarti should have won.

    It’s time to change the rules of the show and make the final vote on who played the game the best rather than who was the nicest. Sandra is nice, but she didn’t play. I guess I will have to find a new reality show to watch.

    Booooooo! this is the second straight episode when the best players lost to a nice little kitty cat.

    The game is not about being nice, so don’t allow votes on who was the nicest. It is no question that either Russell or Parvati played the better game, Sandra did nothing, and was rewarded for doing nothing.

    I have watched this from the start. Please do not let these whiners play on this show again. Get some new people. I’m tired of seeing people claim they are “good” when they lie cheat and steal, and then whine about it when they get kicked off and vote for the weakest player at the jury. There have been a few good seasons where deserving people have won. I would much prefer to watch the game played exactly the same but the jury process changed. Too many whiners with no accountability for their own actions.

    Rupert is the only reason I watched this show. He’s the only reason I tuned in to it. I didn’t watch seasons in between his last appearance. I really like Rupert! And contrary to Jerri’s comment about he’s stupid, I think he a really intelligent person. I think he has other values that some of the other players lack. Rupert tries to play a good game. And I like how he doesn’t outright lie to maintain his position.

    You would think that after playing the game a couple of times that the contestants on the jury would think logically and respect Russell’s incredible game play. But apparently that is not the case and they still just end up becoming a bunch of sore losers (this is the real “flaw”), sore at Russell because he’s good, too good. In my opinion, Russell is still the greatest player in the history of the game. He has done everything that everyone else has tried to do in the game. If there was no jury in the end, and just the remaining three, I bet he could get the other two to vote each other off. Russell Hantz, Soul Survivor forever!

    I do not think that Russell should have earned one penny on the game. To me he has a controlling personality and gives the impression he thinks he is king over all women. I don’t agree that he is the “greatest player” at all. I am glad fans do not get to vote. We do not see all that goes on at the camps everyday. Many played great and better games but the numbers were not there for them to stay. I give my condolences to Russell’s wife.

    I think the jury missed a major point in Russel’s final strategy..taking Pavarti to the end..that was a very BOLD move and showed he was in fact LOYAL to his original alliance. He did the same thing in the first show. How did everyone miss that fact? So…all you bitter jury members…Russell played the game better then you did and remained LOYAL to his core alliance partner Pavarti at the same time. I would have thought atleast the “Dragon Slayer” would have respected that move…but he was voting out of malice like the rest of the jury I suppose. It was Russell’s final moves of loyalty for the final three in both games that costed him. Jury…wake up.

    CBS chose to high light Russell for 2 Survivor shows. They knew it was entertaining. Remember we only see highlights of what goes on. We only saw the game through Russell and didn’t know what was happening behind the scenes.
    The game is not flawed Russell is. maybe he will get the judge in real life to let America vote on whether he is guilty of the battery charge instead of being judged by a jury of his peers. Funny how reality bites you.

    Russell brought me back to Survivor. I loved last season with him in the game and he got hosed. Then he goes and takes it a couple steps further, controls the game again with some help from Parvati, then gets hosed by people who are butt-hurt.

    What a sham that Sandra wins because all the heroes try to take the moral high ground. Heck, if Parvati would have won it would have taken the sting away but Sandra? Give me a break.

    Congrats Sandra! No, America should NOT have a vote for who wins. What we see on tv one hour a week is miniscule compared to what the cast members actually have to live with 24/7. Who better to know what actually goes on than those who are actually playing? CBS can edit to show us whatever they want. Those who are actually PLAYING are the only ones who have EARNED a vote. What galls me are those who think Russell played a good game because he ticked off the most tribe mates. If he were to truly outwit, he could control the game without costing himself votes. Did Sandra win any physical challenges? No. Does that mean she doesn’t deserve to win? Ahhh..but Colby has won the most challenges and still hasn’t won. So by that logic, Russel STILL would not have won! Doesn’t it say something that Russell didn’t even get one vote from those who played the game with him? THAT says a lot. I would have loved for Jeff to ask if anyone at all would have given Russell a vote. My guess is an emphatic no. For those who say the jury is just bitter…well that’s part of the game. You have to play to the very end, which includes garnering jury votes. That’s exactly why Russell did not and will never win. Not a bitter jury, just a smart jury.

    If Russell was really the ultimate survior, he would have figured out that his strategy doesn’t win the game. It gets him as far as he can go on his own but that’s it. We would have learned from last season that the other players don’t respect the way he plays and he will never win. America shouldn’t vote because that’s not how the show works. It’s a game show folks. Do you see any other game shows where America picks the winner. I have never been able to call in and pick who I want to win the showcase on the price is right.

    Look Russell, played a great strategic game but Survivor is not all strategy. Anyone who has watched this game since they very beginning knows that you have to play the game and “ALSO” get the jury votes at the end. Russell lacks the social game – he is full of himself and you can not win this game by yourself. Pavarti should have won but if all you Russell lovers go back and watch the episodes again you will see Sandra subtly start to play a strategic game and not only subtly but right in Russell’s face. Russell was so full of himself that he was blind to both Pavarti and Sandra. So Russell quit crying and own up to your own flaws in playing the game. Survivor is a whole game – not just how many people can you get voted off, backstab, etc and think you’re going to win without the other parts of this game. Russell lovers wake up and see thw WHOLE game – remember the jurors see more than what we see on TV. Way to go Parvarti and Sandra :)

    Ok, Russell did play the game. So did Sandra, So did Parvati, so did everyone. Everyone plays differently. To say that Sandra didn’t play that game is wrong. No, I don’t think she is the best player, there were others better, but they got shot down. Russell didn’t do anything except use people to get him to the end, JUST LIKE SANDRA. Parvati didn’t do anything except use people to get her to the end, JUST LIKE RUSSELL. Of the three, Sandra deserved it. She was right when she said she had to work to stay in the game when everyone else was working on getting someone out. I think that it is far more difficult to stay in when the odds are against you than to stay in when the odds are in your favor…I think the jury chose the best choice available to them.     Why Russel is NOT the greatest survior player (yet) and why the game is NOT flawed as Russel said it is:

    Survivor is NOT flawed because it doesn’t include America’s vote. Jeff P. stated it best…that would be a different game. Survivor was created on the concept of people being stranded on a deserted island as a self contained unit deciding amongst themselves who should be voted off. There’s something for say for the fact final decisions are being made by each player without the “all seeing eye” of the video camera. America (who has the luxury of omnipotence and hindsight) needs to remain as a silent observer, not a participant.

    For those of you who like the concept of America’s participation and agree with Russel’s view, then $100K side contest should satisfy you.

    Russel cannot be considered the greatest all-around player of all time YET. For one, he’s only played the game twice and the fact that he just finished his first game before starting his second allowed him a certain degree of annonymity with the other player. He knew them well prior to playing, but vise versa.

    No doubt about it, Russel is certainly one of the most dominant, game-changing players ever. But let’s see how he would the next time around when everyone knows his strategy? How well would he be able to change it up like others had to? So far we’ve only seen a one-dimensional, one strategy side of Russel. A very impressive Russel, for sure. But the greatest ever? Too premature to say that!

    For now, I’d have to say it’s Parveti because She’s not only made it to the end three times, she’s one it once. Russel can make it to the end, but he can’t close the deal. He runs so hot and strong that he burns his engines out before crossing the finish line. Because Survivor is BOTH running strong and winning, Russel may need to live with the title, Most Dominant Player Of All Time, but NOT Best Player of All Time. Parveti on the other hand, seems to be BOTH a dominant player and a winner. She’s balanced with a lethal combination of being both a controller and a coat tailer. To me that is definitely a strategy and a real good one. I like Sandra, but I can’t consider her the greatest YET either. For one, she’s only made it to the end twice AND the fact that she’s too much of a coat-tailer is a problem.

    It seems like the “Russel should have won” people here are forgetting one thing: Russel didn’t win for good reason. He made too many enemies. So the solution is to get America’s vote involved? That would absolutely KILL what makes Survivor so great….the idea of “How well could you survive in a Lord of the Flies kind of way if you were stranded on an island with a bunch of other people? In your own self contained mini-government, who would last the longest? America may like Russel because of his brilliant mix of intelligence and meanness, but in a real scenario, being too mean gets you thrown out of the group…in other words, you don’t survive. That’s Survivor! Adding America’s vote (in Russel’s case) could allow him to be too mean to the other player and still win. That may be cool, but it’s not a real life situation. Unless you liken it too a bunch of people stranded on an island who killed eachother off, video taped the whole thing, three of them were rescued, then went back to their homeland and the people watching the tape decided who they liked the best. Stupid. And I’m sure a whole bunch of you will have a case for why Survivor has many, many flaws that make it a not-so-real stranded island situation, like meddling producers and such. For those people I say, “Make your own show and get it on TV.”

    If the jury was OBJECTIVE at all, Russell would have won unanimously. They are so embittered because he TROUNCED their sorry butts. Twice he made them look like boys among men. Twice he made it to the top and CHOSE who would be in the running. America knows who is the best player ever. Besides, how many times have we seen the “jury” give the million $ to the wrong person, all because they could not handle being outplayed. America voters, a real unbiased jury, would have gotten it right every time. If Russell had not been in the game the last couple of times I bet ratings would have been down a bunch.     I made myself available every Thursday to watch Survivor for only one reason, Russell. Maybe it was the excitement of waiting for the other players to finally see Russell for who he was and vote him off but every week he outsmarted them. Russell always decided who was to leave and made it happen while the others were led by him. Maybe they were more mad at themselves and thought a vote for Russell would only show how they fell for his moves every time. Yes, Russell was a cheat, he lied, he bragged and he was very good TV.      The episode where Parvati was told she was getting voted off but gave out her two idols to Sandra and Jerri anyway made it pretty obvious that the show was either scripted or someone on the production crew was influencing what was going on.      I love survivor, but a few end comments. The final jury vote is always terrible. The same people who are too “dumb” & naive and end up getting voted off turn around and vote for the “nicest” person they can find. They vote with their heart, not their head. It’s funny, but Rupert even admitted at the live finale that he cheats and lies, yet he gets mad when others do it to him.

     Russell does play a strategic game and is probably the best player outside of the social/personality side of the game. He is the player who understands how to get to the end. However, I guess he doesn’t understand that grating on people won’t win in the end.

     Sandra may have won but her discussion points about her strategy is ludicrous. Her only strategy was to get Russell voted off, but THAT STRATEGY FAILED.

     Therefore, she hid under the radar and was lucky to get in the top three. Only the stupid jury made her the winner. Parvati was also a very strategic player. Both deserved the title over Sandra.

All the jurys in the past were smart people who now after 20 years they only let the ones who do nothing win.(2 years in a row) It used to be the one who played the game the best. Every year this game is about lying and decieving and that is why people even watch. So now we know it s about being bitter and there is no fun in watching a great player like Russel lose because of idiots. I hope any fans out there will tell any jury members they see that they suck and should have never played a game (Its a game of wits)that losers make other losers win.

     Larry…..if the jury was OBJECTIVE Russell would have won? That’s just the POINT!! The jury ISN’T objective….you have to play the game well to win, and that includes retaining the confidence of the jury, not get them too off-side (enough to lose their votes) by being a snake. It doesn’t take too much talent to ride roughshod over people and treat them like dirt, but it DOES take real real skill to eliminate them one by one and yet get their vote at the end. It’s SKILL.
     Russell just didn’t play the game as well as he likes to think he did. That much is obvious. THIS game requires the vote of your peer whom you’ve lived with for so long – not America, who only see edited versions of the show.
     Well done Sandra. By the simple fact that you won, you played the best. You got the votes, you got the money. End of story.

     here’s the flaw—sandra herself said she tried numerous times to get russell out of the game and FAILED!!…like russell said, how can you make a winner out of someone who failed in her goal??

     yes, russell may be a jerk in the game, and play dirty, but it’s not like the other players didn’t know all about his style—jeez, he just finished samoa 10 days before starting this season!!…so they all had the opportunity to get rid of him, and yet week after week, he remained and instead, orchestrated the ouster of people HE wanted out.

     I love this show, except for the final week, where i get to watch a popularity contest. The contestants all talk rationaly, untill they get blindsided. This game shows that no matter whet type of person you are, most people will not give the money to the person who knocked them out of the game. It makes them all look small and vulnerable.      I’m not going to be one of those bitter people on here who shows how mad they are that Russell did not win by trashing Sandra’s very undeserving victory(even thought I am pretty pissed). Instead I’ll offer a solution to the obvious flaw in the game. I don’t think America should vote on who should win, I think there should be a series of four challenges that each victory counts as a vote towards the final tribal council. That way you don’t leave complete control in the hands of a very bitter jury. I know Russell still wouldn’t have won even if he wins all four challenges, but Parvati might have and I’ll take Parvati winning over worthless crap being crowned sole survivor any day.

     Let’s just say I feel robbed of my time and energy. I thought Russell should have won last season as he deserved it. I also thought he should have won this season as well. Sandra did not deserve it in my opinion. I do think Russell made a bad move though not taking Jerri to the end but I don’t know if it would have helped him. As much as I’m upset he didn’t win I thought about what Boston Rob said when he said Russell plays to get to the end of the game and not to win. I’d love him to play again but I don’t blame him if he doesn’t feel up to it.

It’s a game of survival and winning at whatever cost and everyone knows that going in so they shouldn’t be surprised. Other survivor winners have been cut throat and won but for some reason everyone was made at Russell.

     does it say in the Survivor rules that if you are the best player you should win? Russell was a great player but was he the best? Possibly, Yet he’s never won in two seasons now. Beaten twice by weak women. He says that’s the flaw in the game well no it’s not that is his flaw in the game it’s called SURVIVOR not who can win most challenges or who makes the sneakiest moves or who has the best alliances Natalie beat him at his own game let him do all the dirty work made the jury love her and cuz guess what they are the ones who determine who wins as it should be. there should never be any outside (america) voting only the 14 to 20 folks who get chosen to play this game. IF you win challenges great you move ahead if you lose but survive the vote great again and you move ahead it’s about SUVIVING that vote however you can. Winning challenges doesn’t make you the best it’s only another way of helping you advance aka survive that vote. No matter what your game play is that is all it really comes down too. everyone came for same reason to win 1 million dollars. If you don’t get voted out and the jury gives you the most votes that’s playing the game. And you deserve that win. You did what you were suppose to do.

America should be either voting for the winner or have at least 50% of the vote. Next time you have players from previous games play russell needs to come back. And how about a twist, include players from other reality shows. Imagine Russell and Evil Dick from the Big Brother show. That would be a trip.      Russel really hasn’t figures out the jury angle yet. I love his game play and I believe he should have and could have won if he could work over the jury. For example, a really simple angle would be to say in your opening statement that from the beginning the strategy for getting to final three was to be dispicable enough for everyone to want to take him there because they all believe they can beat him and that in real life he is in no way that person. It’s just his game identity. The only reason the jury never votes for him is because even though they can respect his gameplay his jury gameplay leaves something to be desired or that it would be just plain unethical to give someone 1 million dollars to be dispicable in real life. Just have to prove you aren’t actually a bastard.

     I agree; Russell should have won the game. To a certain extent, Boston Rob was correct. Russell can get himself to the end, but can’t win; but not for the reasons Rob listed.

     Other players have not played a great social game, but have still been able to walk away as ‘Sole Survivor’(ex: Richard Hatch). I believe the difference is that these other players were more skilled in swaying the jury in the final Tribal Council. This is where Russell needs to get better.

     Throughout the whole final speech/question & answer period, I was waiting to hear several key things from Russell;
     a) the game is outwit, outplay, outlast,
     b) this is not a popularity contest,
     c) I will not apologize for the way I played. I’m proud that I’m here and you’re there.
     d) who I am in this game is not necessarily who I am in real life and I should be judged solely within the rules of the game.
     e) as former participants, I know that you are not petty or ruled by your emotions and that you respect the game. As such, I know that you know that I was the best player out here and deserve your vote tonight.

     Russell is the best to ever play the game, but he needs to sell himself harder at the end.

     Ruperts comments at the jury were hysterical.He absolutely gave it to Russel and said what a pathetic man he was BUT wasnt it Rupert along with Colby who formed an alliance or what Rupert thought was an alliance with Russel.      Re Sandra not doing anything at all & not deserving to win “argument”- A quieter, less physical, less in-your-face strategy game does not necessarily NOT equal strategy. To say she did NOTHING to deserve the win? Either you weren’t watching the series w/ your eyes open or you’re just one of Russell’s little minions. For starters, she did a helluva lot more than what you & I did.

     There is more than one way to play this game (& ea deserve their own merit) but there is only one ultimate goal- you must figure out a way to get the majority of the votes in the end from a whole bunch of different personalities. It is what the show is. A true student of the game would understand this. Yes, Russell made many bold moves & was courageous for putting himself out there as the almighty villain but he lost sight of this single most important goal. Not only did his statements @ the final tribal council suck ass, I believe his biggest flaws were completely underestimating his competitors (or was it more seeing himself in the greatest light??) & clearly, failing to read the way the jury would vote, thus failing to elect the “right” people to take w/ him to the final three.

     And I’m really praying that CBS won’t allow viewers’ votes to influence the final outcome. That would so ruin the game.

     Granted, Russell is/was one of the best players Survivor has ever seen – but with (IMHO) one major flaw. He is a thug! Granted, Outplay, Outwit etc, is how the game needs to be played and people will get their noses out of joint. So be it. However if people (Russell) decide that moving ahead requires that threats must be made, then it indicates how weak and insecure they/he really are.

     Ultimately Russell destroyed himself based on his real-world ‘self’. Facing facts, he is belligerent, self absorbed, hostile, antagonistic, and aggressive. And if anyone believes that winning a game by employing anti-social behavior is in fact Outwitting, Outplaying, Outlasting; is sadly very wrong.

     Well done to Sandra – or perhaps it should have been Parvati! In any event at least it wasn’t Russell.

     Has anyone noticed that Russell is the ONLY finalist to complain about the results? Not once, but twice! Everyone else, including those you like to give him credit for sending packing, took their medicine like a man. He pulled off one temper tantrum after another.      BTW I watched season 1 and then 3,4,5 and lost interest… was at home @ my parents house some random holiday weekend and happened to catch mid season 19 and saw Russ pulling some prank while flipping around and watched the show. I ended up watching the rest of Season 19 and being excited to watch season 20 and didn’t miss an episode. Not sure if I’ll bother with season 21 since I know anyone I like playing the game will get borked in the end.. whats the point?

The way Survivor winners are chosen is crazy and not fair at all to those who play the game. So Sandra won then to me any player that got voted out could have won.
